Global studies confirm that children are adopting AI faster than the adults around them. Children are already using AI to learn, create, and make sense of the world, often before parents have had the chance to form a view on it. That gap between how quickly children move and how ready parents feel is why this guide exists.
In the UAE's Year of the Family 2026, the Dubai Future Foundation and the Dubai Centre for AI, in partnership with the Community Development Authority, have launched Gen DubAI, a family AI literacy guide that aims to help parents feel better equipped to support their children to thrive in the age of AI, wisely, creatively, and safely.
This platform combines leading international guidance on AI use with our own research with UAE families, bringing it together into a clear and practical guide that helps every parent feel rooted, connected, and confident.
